A Day in the Life of Tom Gelles, Regional Sales Director - Kansas City, MO

7:30 am...Received Daily Usage Report showing our region's total client usage for the previous day. Analyzed each office and sent it out to the District Managers with any question I might have. Made special note of larger than normal submissions. Checked those against our Online Rep Portal to verify who was submitting large batches. Also, complimented the Districts that had a solid day.

9:30 am...Traveled with our Kansas City District Manager to an appointment to see the top officers of a local bank. They had several new members of their team and wanted to understand Transworld Systems and where we fit in with their bank. They were excited to learn of all the services we offered and felt we had been under-utilized in the past. They signed up for our Webinar Training sessions so they can get all the information possible about how we can help their bank.

11:00...Had a 6 month review call with one of my District Managers. We spent time looking back over the previous 6 months to find where there office was strong and areas that needed to be addressed. We spent time discussing each representative in the District Office and what we can do as a management team to assist them with their business. We also went over a few of the larger, complex sales that are in the funnel and discussed strategies that can help close those deals.

1:00...Attended a Training Webinar on our new Dental Collect Interface. This is a very exciting opportunity for us to penetrate the Dental Market further by making the transfer of data a snap for the practice. To be able to integrate with their Practice Management Software with ease and consistency will guarantee we are light years ahead of any competition and we will be providing a "locked in" service to our clients.

3:30 pm...I jumped on a call with a representative, a district manager, and a potential partnership opportunity. The potential partner is a software vendor that sees the benefits of Transworld and wants to work with us to help their clients. Spent time brainstorming on how to move forward in regards to marketing, pricing, and technology. This is a huge opportunity for the representative and could be a "game changer" for all involved!
